Skill Plus Training
is essentially a Students’ Empowerment Programme
Objective of
the Programme –
1) To develop self belief of “even I can
do.”
2) To develop the attitude to participate
3) To develop the skill to perform and
present
Every year the college organises
a College Week (known as the Sundarmon) where several students’ centric events
are held in form of several stage events and non-stage events.
1. The stage events enable the students to
reflect their potential in form of on stage public performance
2. The non-stage events enable the students
to reflect their cognitive qualities through pen, pencil, paint brush,
mouse,
The uniqueness of the programme is
that here teachers are the trainers and the students are the trainees and the
entire training takes place in an exemplary exhibition of mentor mentee
relationship. The teachers as mentors encourage their student mentees to enroll
their names in several student centric programmes and to participate in training
is given by the teacher mentors. This is a non commercial enterprise and no
fees are charged for these training.
